Our desire is to teach Simple Truths so kids know the foundation of who God is, who they are, & who we are and are inspired to respond with a Simple Faith.
We as the elders of Cottage Grove Church are commissioned to do two primary things, according to the scriptures. That is to teach the Word of God and to pray for the saints (Acts 6:2-4 ESV). What we would like to do is provide you a space where you can reach out to the elders and request prayer for specific needs or desires.
We commit to raising up these requests before the Lord on your behalf and will follow-up with you when the opportunity presents itself.
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word and as we explore and study it, we will continually be pointed towards these four foundational simple truths that are found throughout the entirety of God’s word.
Our desire is for kids to learn Simple Truths and be inspired to grow a Simple Faith in the context of consistent relationships. We offer rooms based on age and grade so kids can learn age appropriate truths and build relationships with their peers. Individual rooms have a maximum capacity to maintain safe volunteer to student ratios and promote great growing environments.
9:00a & 10:45 services
We look forward to meeting you in the kids wing located right in the doors from the north parking lot! Our kids coach will then help you get your kids registered and checked into their classroom and provide you with their name tags and security codes needed for pick up. We will also collect your contact information in case we need to reach you during the service. All of our classrooms are led by faithful volunteers who have been annually trained and background checked. Your kids will have the opportunity to learn one of Four Foundational Simple Truth’s from the Bible, worship through song and dance, and build relationships with their peers and volunteers.
We believe that parents have the wonderful responsibility of making disciples of their children! However they are not alone in this and the church is tasked to come alongside them through Gospel Inspired Friendships! Cottage Grove Kids relies on a faithful and loving team of volunteers who desire to see the kids in and around our church Know, Love, and Follow Jesus!
All of our volunteers undergo annual training, pass an annual background check, and agree to uphold our Child Protection Policy before working with children.
