When you consider God's command to love our neighbor and Jesus's new commandment in John 13:34, where do you see similarities? Where do you see differences in loving our neighbor (Leviticus 19:18) and loving one another?
Agape love is unconditional and merciful love as demonstrated by Christ. Talk about and consider some of the hindrances you personally have for showing love to those around you.
As a group or as an individual, think through some tangible ways you can show love to one another and come back to these the following week. Pray for reinvigorated hearts and eyes to see those that God has placed in front of you.
