Plant Churches

1. Because they had grown internally comfortable, God allowed the Christians in Jerusalem to experience persecution so they would flee and go to Judea, Samaria, and to the end of the earth. How can Cottage Grove Church NOT grow internally comfortable and keep the mission glorifying God and making disciples of all the nations, both in Greater Des Moines and around the world, in front of us?

2. How would you feel as a member of the church at Antioch if Paul, an apostle, a cross-cultural evangelist, a gifted leader, and author of almost ⅓ of the New Testament, was sent out from your church? 

3. In the secular world, organizations that rely on membership like Costco, country clubs, and gyms focus on reaching and retaining. The church on the other hand focuses on reaching, equipping, and sending (going). What happens to a church when it becomes like a business and focuses on reaching and retaining?
